To understand LTAs’ experiences, attitudes, concerns and needs, a series of Listening Workshops was held. One half-day session has been organised within each region.  A report summarising the conclusions of these workshops is available below.

The workshops:

• Explained the purpose of the programme and the workshop;
• Discussed experiences in the field;
• Identified good practice and problems experienced;
• Considered the outline stages involved in accessibility planning;
• Identified the problems anticipated; and
• Defined the type of training/assistance needed.
