Introduction to the Toolkit

This toolkit is intended to guide you through the accessibility planning process. It is produced by withinreach, the Accessibility Planning Training and Advice Programme, to support the continuing development and implementation of Accessibility Strategies and covers many of the key skills needed to undertake accessibility planning. Further advice and information, and practical applications of some of the principles in the toolkit, appear in a separate set of resources. These and other case studies and examples of best practice can be found in the links to the left throughout the chapters or all together on the ‘downloads’ page.

How to use this Toolkit

Direct access to core documents is to be found in the left margin. To gain quick access to the content within the six chapters, use the navigation at the top of the page. Alternatively, you can gain access to the five stages by using the links embedded within the diagram below.
