Welcome to the withinreach Research Database. Over the past two years, withinreach has accumulated information regarding published works with reference to Accessibility Planning. These include guidance, good practice, research papers, journal entries, and books amongst other references. This is a dynamic database and is not exhaustive. New entries are being added when we are made aware of new literature - please feel free to let us know of documents you think should be linked. We must caveat the database with the fact we have not assessed each document in terms of their quality and the opinions contained within them are the authors own and not ours.

The most relevant documents have been given summaries (these are highlighted in bold) to provide you with additional information and for a few documents we have been able to provide weblinks. The database does not itself list the findings of the research, rather provide you with a useful list of data sources. We hope that the use of this database will reach beyond Local Transport Authorities to all their partners and key stakeholders, Accessibility Planning practitioners, those in the academic profession with an interest in Accessibility Planning. In fact, this is available for anyone with an interest in or query of Accessibility Planning. We hope you find it useful.
